Tape over the open crop, netting over the fruit that has to be protected absolutely, and spikes on the building. Anybody who tells you tape alone will clear a farm is selling you the wrong thing.\n\nOne practical note for the rainy season: check the ties after a storm. Tape that has come loose at one end and wrapped itself round a branch has stopped working and you may not notice.",
